Budoni and the surrounding area

Budoni is a charming town on the north-eastern coast of Sardinia.It is famous for its wide beaches surrounded by Mediterranean scrub and crystal clear sea.

The Li Cucutti, Sant’Anna and Cala Budoni beaches with their soft white sand and clear, turquoise water are an absolute must-see. 

On summer evenings the streets of the town come alive with events and markets for enjoying a splendid stroll.

Porto Ainu Beach

Porto Ainu beach is one of the most beautiful and evocative beaches in the area. The beach is characterized by a wide expanse of fine white sand and crystal clear sea in turquoise and green shades.

It is protected from the sirocco winds and offers a shallow, sandy seabed that is ideal for children. The panorama is breathtaking, with a view of the island of Tavolara and Capo Coda Cavallo.

Tavolara and Molara

Tavolara and Molara are twin islands in the heart of Sardinia.

Tavolara is the larger and more famous of the two islands; it has an elongated shape and a mountain peak that is 565 meters high.​ The island is covered with dense Mediterranean vegetation and is home to a rich range of fauna, including wild goats, mouflons, and peregrine falcons.

Molara is smaller and wilder and is characterized by a high cliff overlooking the sea. The island is covered with sparser Mediterranean vegetation and has similar fauna to that of Tavolara.

Tavolara and Molara are included in the Tavolara-Punta Coda Cavallo Marine Protected Area, one of the most important marine protected areas in Sardinia. The area is a paradise for nature and sea lovers and offers numerous activities such as snorkelling, scuba diving, fishing tourism, and bird watching.

Gulf of Orosei

The Gulf of Orosei is an inlet located along the eastern coast of Sardinia, between the municipalities of Orosei and Dorgali. It is a protected natural area with breathtaking landscapes.

The gulf is divided into two parts: the northern part, characterized by sandy beaches and pine forests, and the southern part, characterized by cliffs overlooking the sea and marine grottos.

The Gulf of Orosei is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia, including Cala Luna, Cala Goloritze, Cala Sisine, and Cala Mariolu. These beaches are characterized by fine white sand, incredible crystalline seawater, and unspoiled nature.

The Gulf of Orosei is also an important site of speleological interest, with numerous marine grottos that can be visited by boat or on foot. Among the most famous grottos are the Grotta del Bue Marino, the Grotta di Ispinigoli and the Grotta di Sa Conca.
